The terms covering the 1VideoTool application and the private beta: what you may do with it, who owns what you make, and what it does not promise.

The private beta
1VideoTool is pre-release. Beta builds are provided free to design partners in exchange for feedback. They may change, break, or be withdrawn, and the production format may still change before v1 — we will say so and provide a migration when it does.
Your productions
Everything you make is yours. Productions are files in a directory you chose. We never receive them, and nothing here grants us any licence to your scripts, footage, generated media or final cuts.
Provider relationships
Generation runs against providers you configure with your own keys, at their price and under their terms. We do not resell compute and are not a party to that relationship. Whether a given output may be used commercially is decided by the provider's terms, not ours.
Responsible use
You are responsible for what you generate and publish, including rights in any material you import as a reference and any likeness you depict. Do not use the app to make material that is unlawful where you are.
The licence, when it exists
At release 1VideoTool will be a one-time desktop licence with bring-your-own providers. Terms for that licence will be published here before it goes on sale.
What the app does not promise
Generated output depends on the provider and model you chose, your prompts and your references. The app makes the production reproducible and the spend visible. It does not guarantee a particular result, cost, or generation time.
Liability
The software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. StoicSoft is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including provider charges you incur. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them.
